When I was suffering with an illness, Gretchen offered to give me reiki treatments. Her caring presense and touch helped me relax and enjoy tremendous benefits that still astound me. At first I was skeptical of Reiki, but I could not deny my experience. I went on to study Reiki formally because the experience was so profound. I am so grateful to have been introduced to this beautiful tradition. I would reccomend Gretchen to anyone that would like to learn about or experience Reiki. She has a great understanding of this mysterious art as well as a healer's heart.

As I entered my first Reiki session I was not sure what to expect or what even was going to happen. The session was non invasive and there was light touching at points but most of the time there was no touching. I laid with my eyes closed, focused on my breath, and tried to just feel my body. My body had some tingling sensations in certain parts but nothing extreme. My stomach actually started grumbling like I was digesting vigorously, however it was not uncomfortable at all. I felt most effects after the session. The following evening I was extremely tired and slept for almost 12 hours that night. I drank a lot of water and craved foods like almonds and walnuts. The next day my energy level was up higher than normal. My body felt stronger and I could really feel every part of it. At first it was a confusing experience because I was not sure what to feel. However, two days after I felt amazing, just trust your body and the rest will happen.

I have had 2 sessions with Gretchen...Each treatment had a wonderful profound relaxing effect on me....I highly recommend Gretchen's technique and practice..... she has a wonderful understanding of Reiki and is so enlightening and enjoyable to be with....you too, could experience these benefits from a session of Reiki with Gretchen....looking forward to my next session.
